cheerleading is a sport. ALL STAR cheerleading cheerleaders are actual athletes. Our sport is three different sports combined. we must tumble, dance, and lift weight that’s more than our own. it requires focus and mental toughness. we train more than any athlete, our sport is all year around and also internationally known. more than 40 countries having cheerleading as a sport. Cheerleading participated in the Opening Ceremonies of the XXVI Olympiad, the 1996 Summer Olympic Games held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Over the past 7 years international participation at The Cheerleading and Dance Worlds has grown from 3 non-U.S. based teams representing 2 countries, to over 200 teams representing over 60 countries outside of the U.S. as of 2010. #Cheerleading is a #sport 😝 ✌-☝
